Colossians 1:24-2:5 ESV – Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I am filling up what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions for the sake of his body, that is, the church, of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God that was given to me for you, to make the word of God fully known, the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to his saints. To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. I say this in order that no one may delude you with plausible arguments. Midtown Community Church just finished up a sermon series on spiritual renewal. To close out this series, we decided to have a special service that focused on different aspects of prayer. This is a modified recording of our prayer service where we worked through the ACTS of prayer: Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving and Supplication. The format of the service consisted of 4 parts comprised of a short homily, a time of corporate prayer and a song together. For this recording we have included the homilies and the songs (and also a mercy testimony). We hope that this service can be used for people longing for renewal. Take time to listen to each homily and reflect and pray during the worship music. We are humbled and excited about what God is doing at Midtown Community Church and so happy that we can share this service with you.

I will extol you, my God and King,
